Google Earth

From the Center for Hydrometeorology & Remote Sensing, at the University of California Irvine, with funding from UNESCO's International Hydrological Programme and with the California Institute for Telecommunications and Information Technology (Calit2), and its Irvine Division, comes this useful tool by CHRS which allows near real time mapping of global precipitation patterns using Google Earth as the application platform.
